André is responsible for the development and delivery of geo-environmental and geotechnical services across across the business and heads up the ground engineering team that covers the South West region.

André has extensive technical and management expertise of the geo-environmental and geotechnical aspects of civil and structural engineering projects, both in consultancy and contractor roles. His engineering experience spans 29 years and encompasses all aspects of ground engineering from preliminary risk assessments and ground investigations through to design, waste assessment and remediation, and in particular advising on geotechnical, and soil, water and gas contamination risks for land acquisition and redevelopment.  He also has expert witness experience.

André has extensive experience of the planning system, which routinely involves liaison with local authorities, the Environment Agency and the Coal Authority, to achieve conditions sign off for clients. From his significant knowledge of soils reuse via various waste protocols and the Waste Framework Directive, he can also advise on Asbestos-in-soils risks and reuse of asbestos-impacted soils.

He is a registered SiLC (Specialist in Land Condition), a Chartered Scientist, a Chartered Environmentalist and a Qualified Person (Definition of Waste: Development Industry Code of Practice).
