James is a Chartered Structural Engineer with over 15 years’ industry experience, he has led multidisciplinary teams working across many sectors but with a particular focus on residential, retail, & education.
As a chartered member of the Institution of Structural Engineers, James has developed strong problem-solving and technical skills, and has played a key role in the successful delivery of some significant projects in the South West and Wales.
His using his strong communication and inter-personal skills have helped to build good relationships within stakeholder teams.
As head of the Bristol office, James is responsible for the ongoing development of Clarkebond in Bristol and the wider region, this includes maintaining existing client relationships and developing new business. He also sits on both the Clarkebond Senior Management Team and Strategic Board.
James is a regular on the Bristol construction & property networking scene and is a committee member of both the First Thursday Club and the forum for the built environment, and a regular attendee of the Last Friday Cycle events.
