James Edmonds

James is a Chartered Structural Engineer with over 9 years’ experience working across sectors including education, historic structures, industrial, leisure, offices, residential, retail and waste.

With good problem-solving and technical skills, James has played a key role in the successful delivery of some significant projects in the South West and Wales, using his strong communication and inter-personal skills to build good relationships within stakeholder teams. Projects include Cyfarthfa Retail Park, Merthyr Tydfil, Finzel’s Reach, Bristol, the redevelopment of the previous Gloucester College of Art and Technology, Access 18, Avonmouth, McArthurs Yard, Bristol and the award-winning Being Brunel Museum on Bristol harbour side.

James is also involved in business development for the Bristol office and acts a mentor for engineers aiming for Chartered status with the Institution of Structural Engineers.

James has a BSc and MEng in Civil Engineering, is a member of the Institution of Structural Engineers and is a committee member of the First Thursday Club.
