Gareth is a highly motivated and technically able individual, committed to providing a high quality product in line with client’s requirements. Gareth has over 18 years consultancy design and BIM experience.
As Clarkebond’s BIM manager, Gareth is responsible for the development and implementation of company BIM documentation, standards and production. He has good knowledge of BIM 1192 document series.
Gareth has extensive experience of CAD and building information modelling packages including Revit Structure, Navisworks, Tekla, Bentley AECOsim, Rhino, AutoCAD and Synchro.
Gareth has been involved in high value projects across multiple sectors with designs including deep basements, high rise steel and concrete frames, complex reinforced concrete detailing, envelopes, foul and surface water drainage, parametric design, 4D sequencing and Virtual Reality.
Gareth’s work comprises BIM modelling from initial concept stage through to final construction, using BIM tools to collaborate with design teams.
The highly detailed and accurate BIM models allow for a deep understanding of structural arrangements and help to produce accurate, clear and concise drawing information throughout the project timeline, as well as allowing in depth coordination and clash detection.
