Bishopsgate Bombing

Clarkebond was commissioned in the immediate aftermath of the 1993 City of London bombing responding to the damage to over six buildings, including listed structures, in Bishopsgate and Liverpool Street.

Working on behalf of the property owners including MEPC and Prudential, forensic investigations and blast analysis was carried out to determine the extent of the damage, the need for temporary restraint and the subsequent phased reinstatement of the buildings.

Negotiation with the clients' insurers was integral to works ensuring a long term client return.
