Clarkebond is supporting the preparation of a hybrid planning application in support of development of approximately 400 dwellings and a primary school on an allocated site on the edge of the market town of Faringdon. We are preparing a Transport Assessment and Residential Travel Plan in support of the application. Our initial work included the review of the previous access strategy and preliminary design of or a more economic and appropriate solution. Achieving appropriate walking and cycling links between the site and local facilities including a secondary school is an important element of the technical work we are carrying out. The sites benefits from convenient access to one of Oxfordshire’s premium bus routes which frequent services to Swindon and Oxford.
