Transformation of Hinckley town centre nearly complete

The Leicestershire town of Hinckley is being transformed as a £80m pound mixed-use development nears completion.

The site was originally occupied by a small supermarket, car parking, a petrol filling station, car repair garages and several other commercial users. Clarkebond has been providing structural, civil and geoenvironmental engineering services on the 256,000 sq ft development which includes a Sainsbury’s supermarket with an undercroft car park, a five-screen multiplex cinema, five restaurants, 18 shops, office space, a five-stop bus station on Waterloo Road, highway improvements and improved site access.  More
