Further expansion at Clarkebond as order book grows
Clarkebond has increased its turnover and headcount by 15% over the past 12 months and forecasts similar growth in the coming year.
“Continuing growth and a strong forward order book has seen our turnover and headcount grow significantly again over this last 12 months,” says Clarkebond Executive Director, John Pavey. “We have won work on some really exciting landmark projects through England and Wales, including the £20m New 15-storey Bridewell student accommodation and mixed use scheme within the city centre of Bristol. Our expanding work force ensures that we will continue to deliver a high quality service and to meet the needs of our growing client base.”
Following appointments in key areas throughout the year, the recent appointment at the Bristol head office of 2 additional CAD technicians, a senior highways engineer, and a project engineer in the structural engineering team, has taken the year on year increase in headcount across all offices to over 15%.
Recruitment is continuing apace with a structural engineer and technician expected to join the London team shortly, and applications for a position as REVIT technician and another to support the Flood Risk team in Bristol are currently being reviewed. Applicants are also being sought for further positions in the London, Bristol and Exeter offices.
Last year Clarkebond was ranked as one of the fastest growing consultants in the country in Building Magazine’s Top 150 Consultants list and has moved up yet another 10 places in the recently published 2015 Consultants List.
Clarkebond provides a range of engineering consultancy service from its Bristol offices on Cumberland Road including structures, infrastructure, hydrology and flood risk management, geo-environmental and geotechnical.
