New appointments boost expansion at Clarkebond
Continuing growth and a strong forward order book has seen Clarkebond increase its turnover and headcount by more than 20% over the last 12 months with more appointments planned in the coming weeks.
Key personnel appointed have included civil and structural engineers, infrastructure and drainage engineers, geo-environmental scientists, hydrologists and a transport planner. A further 7 positions are currently being advertised.
‘We are delighted to welcome the new recruits into our specialist teams’, comments Clarkebond Executive Director, John Pavey (above right). ‘We are already on track to meet our 2014 target within the first 6 months of this year and these appointments will ensure that we maintain a high level of customer service and delivery as the company continues to grow.’
Clarkebond has been at the forefront of the drive towards using BIM (Building Information Modelling) as a standard in the construction industry with all its technicians receiving advanced level training in the use of 3D modelling software packages REVIT and Civil 3D.
The company has offices in Bristol, Exeter, London and Abu Dhabi, and has an established track record in creating sustainable, profitable and economical built environments across all sectors including healthcare, education, offices, retail and leisure, residential, regeneration, and highways and transportation.
Clarkebond is currently working on a number of UK landmark projects including the 15 storey multi-million pound student accommodation scheme on the site of the former New Bridewell Police Headquarters in Bristol which received planning approval last week.
