Further expansion at Clarkebond as order book grows

Following several previous key appointments in the first quarter of 2014, Clarkebond has now appointed an additional Associate Director to lead a new civil engineering and transportation team based at the company’s Bristol office.

Andrew Jenner was previously with Capita Property and Infrastructure in Bristol, working on landmark projects such as Cabot Circus and the new Life Sciences building at Bristol University plus a wide range of education, defence and commercial projects.

Andy’s role at Clarkebond will be to lead a Civil Engineering and Transportation Planning team and to develop new business for his team.

An experienced Chartered Engineer with a wide range of engineering knowledge, Andy’s specialities include highway, drainage and infrastructure design, development of the highways and transportation aspects of masterplans , transportation planning, transport engineering, transport assessments, travel plans and the transportation element of environmental impact assessments.

Andy takes an active role in promoting civil engineering and was formerly the chairman of the ICE Wales Transport Engineering Committee.


Continuing growth and a strong forward order book has seen Clarkebond increase its turnover and headcount by more than 20% over the last 12 months with more appointments planned in the coming weeks.  Key personnel appointed have included civil and structural engineers, infrastructure and drainage engineers, geo-environmental scientists, hydrologists and a transport planner.    A further 2 new project engineers will be joining Andy in Bristol within the next few weeks.
