Rockingham Speedway

Located on a site with varied terrain including a quarry and landfill, the development of this 150ha all weather showground included a major remediation exercise. Geoenvrionmental anaylsis and investigations established the engineering characteristics of the full material and assessed the human health risk to ensure no pollutant linkages occured during redevelopment.

The design provides mostly hardstanding exhibition space and a grid of access roads with a further 90ha of car parking and network of utilities to provide a flexible facility able to host a variety of events.
