Principal Engineer - Civils, Exeter (18/8/10)
The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical delivery of a number of projects; It is essential that they have experience of managing multi disciplinary teams, client interfaces and third parties (particularly statutory bodies). The individual must have a detailed knowledge of engineering design and management, together with an understanding of contract procedures, procurement and the legislative framework. They should be able to speak confidently on the technical aspects of highway and drainage design with a detailed knowledge of WinDes, Autocad and DMRB. The successful candidate will undertake the management and mentoring of staff. Self motivation and confidence to take the initiative will be strong attributes. This role requires an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with strong business acumen and good interpersonal skills, a flair for detail and a professional attitude to succeed.
