Players Industrial Estate
Following a serious fire in spring 2008 at Players Industrial Estate, located in the Clydach area of Swansea, significant repairs and refurbishment was required to three existing industrial units including the reconstruction of a 650m2 (7000ft2 ) unit.
In addition to design - structural, civil and geoenvironmental engineering - and building surveying services - including planning and building regulations, Clarke Bond also acted as CDM coordinator and provided full contract administration of the project. The project, which included a flood risk strategy was accelerated to a 26 week programme to reduce the loss of rental income and make the industrial spaces available as soon as possible.
