Clarke Bond appoints health and safety director

Multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy Clarke Bond has appointed Leon Stanger, executive director at Clarke Bond, as director of health and safety for the group. This follows the group's recent accreditation to the SAFEcontractor scheme as an approved contractor.

Recognising the increased importance of the group's procedures, Leon will report direct to the executive board and will be responsible for advising the whole group on health and safety matters, linking skill groups and project directors to ensure best practice and enable the exchange of experience and ideas.

Leon is taking on this role in addition to his existing position as director of geoenvironmental engineering across the group. He is based in the group's Bristol office.
