Millennium Plaza

Clarke Bond was appointed as civil and structural engineering for the development of this leisure complex adjacent to the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff on the former site of the Empire Pool, built in 1958 for the Commonwealth Games.

The design comprising of a 14-screen cinema, retail areas, bars, restaurants and a foyer/lobby area is sympathetic to the stadium construction and boasts one of the largest glazed atria outside of London and the largest glass brick structure in Europe.
