Fremlin Walk
Fremlin Walk provides over 35,000m2 of space totalling 40% of the Maidstone town centre's retail opportunities. Built on a sloping, tight town centre site next to the river Medway, works included a flood risk assessment (FRA), design, monitoring and re-routing of trunk sewer works and a number of party wall negotiations liaising with local businesses and surveyors.
The design includes a double height basement formed with contiguous piled walls, a superstructure formed from over 6000 tonnes and a structural design accounting for disproportionate collapse.
