Pershore Cottage Hospital
Constructed within a 15-month programme this £4.1m, 1300m2 hospital comprises 26 beds, x-ray and physiotherapy units, a Primary Care Centre for 13 GPs and office accommodation for PCT staff.
The design uses a steel frame with precast concrete planks and a timber truss roof in order to minimise potential disruption to adjacent civic buildings and suit a fast track cost effective construction programme.
Located on a former base works site, Clarke Bond carried out a ground contamination investigation to establish a Waste Acceptance Criteria.
