Clarke Bond appoints a new associate director to its Exeter office

Multidisciplinary engineering consultancy Clarke Bond has recently announced the appointment of Iain McNeill as an associate director based in the company's Exeter office. Iain's responsibilities include the development of the transportation arm for Clarke Bond's south west business and promoting this new skill area for the business nationally.
Iain joins Clarke Bond with 20 years public and private sector transport and civil engineering experience with Devon County Council, WSP and most recently AECOM working in all development sectors and providing pre-planning transportation and infrastructure advice, acting as an expert witness and detailed design and project delivery services. Iain's projects cover the full range from single households to major urban extensions and Cranbrook New Community, as well as delivering on retail, leisure and commercial/industrial sites of all sizes, and providing development control support for the Highways Agency.
"I am genuinely excited about bringing a new discipline to the company which is building strongly for the future, and looking to bigger and more challenging projects, without losing sight of its core clients and values." says Iain. "I will be focused on building our transportation capability locally and across the UK, to existing clients and projects, but introducing new client opportunities through early involvement in the planning process."
